Nunthorpe has flourishing organisations for young people, several of which meet on the Church premises during the week.

Brownies and Guides meeting at the Church

Brownies Mondays from 6:00pm to 7:15pm
Brownies Wednesdays from 5:45pm to 7:15pm
Brownies Thursdays from 6:00pm to 7:30pm
Guides: Wednesdays starting at 7:15 pm
Guides Tuesdays starting at 6:30pm
Rangers Tuesdays starting at 6:30pm

Beavers, Cubs, Scouts and Venture Scouts
Several of these groups meet locally, some at the Scout Building near St. Mary's Church, others at the Avenue School. There are two Beaver Colonies (for 6 to 8 years olds), three Cub Packs (8 to 10 1/2) and two Scout Troops.

The District Venture Scout Unit is based in Marton.
